If you cannot sell yourself, how can you sell anyone anything else? Do not look at this blog as a sales article on how to sell products, but when I refer to “buying things” I mean buying anything you can offer: relationships, work ethics, advice, inventions and anything in the realm of proposals.
People buy you before they buy anything else that comes out of your mouth. Why do you think the largest budget in 99% of companies including movie studios, recording companies etc. is marketing? The answer lies in the need for people to relate and gain your trust.

It has been a staple in developing education for centuries, and the statement goes without saying that it is 100% true. Knowledge is indeed POWER. Wealth, success, relationships all thrive off ultimate knowledge. You can miraculously evolve yourself by feeding your mind with any direct connotation to the word of knowledge.
Knowledge gives you that extra edge over your opponent. Do not always think of the word opponent as a winning and losing matter, rather simply someone in your opposition of conversation, or whatever non-cohesive case you are meddling over, which could be as little as what colors make up the color purple (blue and red). Having that mutual understanding with your opponent that you are the more knowledgeable of the two, for whatever subject matter it is, immediately empowers you, and your confidence radiates and at times can be so strong that it can almost blind others.
