The Secret to Success

The stand alone question throughout time: What is the secret to success? I for no means, am the most successful person in the world. But, to give you a quick incite into what has brought me success; DETERMINATION.

To be successful you need to be forever evolving. I have been on more different career paths than you could ever imagine, starting from being a filmmaker to personal trainer, to theatrical film marketer and now web host. I still pretty much have no clue what I want to do with my life, but in this day and time of our great depression, I saw an avenue for success on the net.

Success is evolution. Homo-sapiens would not be on this earth today without evolution. It is human nature to want the very best. Note: I did not use the word strive because some of us are too damn lazy to go after it. In my case, due to the economy, I got laid off of my last job, and was shit out of luck with work. I evolved, as I always had, and taught my self something new with web developing.

Everyone has their own definition of success. For some, it is being unbelievably wealthy and living the fast life with the sex, drugs and rock n roll. For others, it is feeling loved and going home to your family every night knowing you have that support system under you. Whatever your definition of success need be, you must realize that you will not get it without determination.

In the case of the paper-chaser; if you are not innovative, flexible, understanding yet stern, and most importantly- hungry, then you will never reach your success.

For the family man, if you let yourself go, and do not work hard towards your goals and strive towards bettering your family, your wife will leave you for someone who will.

In order to be successful you must be committed towards it. Talk is cheap. Actions speak a lot louder than words. Before this website, I have never done anything like this on the internet before. I simply saw an avenue for success and ran after it, never slowing down. I cannot tell you how many man hours I put into learning all about the internet and everything it had to offer. Knowledge is endless if you really think about it.

My proudest accomplishment to date is getting this website up and running, all at the same time watching it grow into a huge success for what I hope it will be one day.

POST NOTE: Going back to my last comment about my proudest accomplishments; I want to also add that I made a documentary on a close family friend of mine with Autism about 2 years ago. This was also a huge accomplishment of mine which I take much pride in. I will go back on what I said earlier about never making a webpage, because I made a googlesite with a few clips and description of the documentary but knew absolutely nothing about marketing etc. at that time.
